The new SplitTicketing.com internet portal is the first to do the real thing in a few easy automated steps and this places it leagues ahead of any other web site that incorrectly claims to offer split train tickets in this way when they do not.
SplitTicketing.com makes booking split train tickets easy and no different from what you'd normally do when booking a train ticket online. So, try the money saving split train ticket search and booking engine below and you could be pleasantly surprised with the split ticket savings you'll enjoy, even if you book on the day of departure!
SplitTicketing.com automatically does the calculations for you. For example, if you wanted to travel from Station A to Station D, you would expect to buy a ticket direct from A to D. However, depending on your route you may find it a lot cheaper to buy a ticket from A to B, and another from B to C and still another from C to D.
You will still travel on the same train, at the same times and in the same seat but with two or more cheaper tickets instead of one expensive ticket and, contrary to what some may say, you do not have to break your journey at any of the intermediate stations. This is what split ticketing is all about.

Split ticketing is perfectly legal and is allowed by the National Conditions of Travel under which all train operating companies on the national rail network do business. The only condition when using split train tickets is the train you take must stop at all the places you have bought tickets for and not just pass through them. You do not have to leave the train and get back on it in between the start and end of your journey.
